The National Federation of Roofing Contractors – the UK’s largest roofing trade association (NFRC) – is pleased to announce SIG Roofing as headline sponsor for this year’s prestigious UK Roofing Awards.
James Talman, Chief Executive at NFRC said: “As hosts of the Awards, we are delighted and excited to once again welcome SIG Roofing as our headline sponsor. This event is the highlight of the roofing industry calendar, and as always, its aim is to recognise and reward outstanding standards of workmanship, technical excellence and safety across all aspects of roofing. SIG Roofing has been supporting the Awards for the last 10 years, and combined with their commitment to best roofing practice, they make the ideal sponsor.”
James added: “This year’s Awards take on even greater meaning as they coincide with NFRC’s 125th anniversary – an amazing milestone for any organisation, but even more significant for a Federation that relies solely on membership support.”
Commenting on this exciting sponsorship announcement, Andrew Wakelin, Managing Director at SIG Roofing, said: “We are passionate about supporting the roofing industry and the desire to drive innovation and quality workmanship is at the very heart of our business. That’s why we are so committed to the work that the NFRC is doing with The UK Roofing Awards, and we are proud to once again be the headline sponsor.” The UK Roofing Awards is now in its 11th consecutive year, with the grand final set to take place on Friday 19th May 2017 at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London, where winners will be announced and trophies presented at a special luncheon. The event will be hosted by BBC Breakfast Presenter, Steph McGovern, and the voice of the National Lottery, Alan Dedicote.
