For building company owner Mark Lintott winning the £1,000 prize on offer for taking part in an SIG Roofing customer satisfaction survey could not have come at a better time.
For he and his wife Jo were about to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary and thanks to his good fortune he was able to put some of the windfall towards a romantic celebratory holiday in Spain.
Mark, whose business Lintott Building Solutions is based in Leigh-on-Sea, does not normally respond to surveys. But, he said: “The lady who called me was very polite and so I went along with it. I don’t normally win anything, this was a big surprise and a welcome slice of luck.”
To have the opportunity to win Mark had to answer a number of questions and then take his chance in a prize draw along with hundreds of other entrants.
Mark’s local SIG outlet is the Leigh-on-Sea branch in Progress Road, from where he purchases mainly roofing materials for contracts across the Essex area. He said: “The staff are always helpful. If they haven’t got what I’m looking for in stock they will order it in and ensure it is available quickly.”
Lintott Building Solutions will celebrate seven years in business in January. The company’s portfolio ranges across new roofs and roof repairs, extensions and loft conversions, electrical services, and property refurbishments, maintenance and repair.
