After receiving positive feedback and inspiring stories from last winter’s support of the Morrisons Supermarket Foodbank campaign, SIG has decided to participate again this festive season.
In an impressive collective effort, 49 strategically placed branches nationwide from the SIG UK Roofing, SIG Interiors, and SIG Specialist Market divisions are participating, alongside two full shopping trolleys of items from the SIG head office team based in Sheffield. Each branch will collaborate closely with their local Morrison Community Champions by the end of November to understand what their local food banks require to address their specific needs, ensuring that these efforts will have the greatest possible impact. Additionally, Morrisons has agreed to provide a generous 10% discount on all products purchased by SIG, allowing each pound donated to stretch even further.
The branch staff will, therefore, soon be busy creating tailored shopping lists and visiting Morrisons Supermarkets to fill their trolley with items that will be delivered by the Morrisons community team to local food banks before the festivities begin.
