The London Triathlon, 30th July 2011
 Well here we are again, a team of contractors, manufacturers, trade associations and distributors all from the Roofing Industry have joined forces to once again complete the London Triathlon around the docklands in the big city and ultimately raise money for two key charities.
For those of you that are not aware the triathlon is a gruelling challenge that even the most athletic contenders find difficult having have to complete a course of a quick 750 metre swim in the Thames, followed by a cycle of 20 kilometres and finishing with a 5 kilometre sprint to the finishing line - but it’s all in the name of charity!!!!
Once again this year we are raising money for both Macmillan Cancer Support and Great Ormond Street Hospital, two worth while courses that are very dear to our hearts with the loss of friends and colleagues to cancer and first hand experience of the work that Great Ormond Street carries out of world class care for sick your children.
So, this year, we are attempting raise a record breaking £100,000 in sponsorship to really make a difference in many peoples lives………..and this is where you come in.
