New Integrated ‘PV’ Tile for Use with Natural Slate Launched

In an effort to firmly put the professional roofing contractor at the forefront of project installations of solar renewable energy products on our roof tops leading solar energy company Solar century have teamed up with SIG Roofing Supplies to develop and launch a new integrated Photovoltaic roof tile for use with natural slate.

A recent report highlighted that key issues surrounding problematic installations for solar renewable energy products were connected to the interfacing on the roof, furthermore when you consider that the roof will offer building owners the greatest opportunity for ‘renewable energy’ it was only natural that two of the leading organizations in the roofing industry teamed up to ensure that a high performance, aesthetically pleasing and simple installation product was accessible to the roofing market.

Furthermore to support this product launch both organizations have set up and developed both practical and informative training courses to allow roofing contractors to become accredited installers of the Solar Century C21e Photovoltaic range which includes both the exclusive C21e Slate format and the C21e Tile format products.
