Don’t miss the RCI Show in Coventry on the 27-28 January 2016.
A vast mix of manufacturers, suppliers, leading trade associations and governing bodies will all be there to showcase their latest products and valuable services. They’ll provide guidance on how you can save time and money on site and answer key questions on business, industry and product-related issues. The RCI Show is designed to help you find solutions and innovations that improve your work and save you time and money.
Stuart Base, Head of Marketing at SIG Roofing had this to say about the benefits of attending: “Whether you’re looking to see where your sector is headed, diversify into new areas, or simply work a bit smarter, you’re guaranteed to discover something beneficial for you and your business during your visit. With free entry and so much relevant information readily available, it’s set to be a success.”
The RCI Show brings together all the leading industry figures under one roof. It covers a wide range of roofing disciplines, including:
- Single ply
- Green roofing
- Metal cladding
- Fixing & fasteners
- PPE and safety equipment
The popular demo zones return even bigger and better! Ten manufacturers from various disciplines will be giving practical demonstrations of their latest offerings, so you’ll be able to get up close and ask the experts.
Each day the show will host debates on some of the key issues affecting our industry. A panel comprising former Chief Executive of the NFRC, Ray Horwood, roofing consultant and RCI Technical Note author Keith Roberts, and representatives from leading manufacturer Kingspan and specialist contractor Prater will lead the discussions. The debates will cover how, as an industry, we can reduce call-backs on projects, as well as the importance of substituting with care, when it comes to specification. These are important issues impacting on projects throughout the UK, so make sure you don’t miss out!
HOW TO FIND AND DEVELOP SKILLED WORKERS
Skills shortages and concerns around training continue to affect construction. The RCI Show has teamed up with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) to see what companies can do to find and develop skilled workers. With this in mind, you’ll be able to visit the CITB drop-in clinic where experts will be on hand to answer any questions about taking on apprentices, funding for training, or up-skilling your workforce.
