SIG Design Technology together with liquid manufacturer Hydrostop, and SIG’s insulation partners Recticel Gradient, IKO and Rockwool have developed a range of warm roof systems for just about every situation – including;
- Flat board
- Recovery board for overlays
- Specialist acoustic applications
Fully tested, these warm roof systems have achieved a fire rating of BROOF(t4).
TWICE THE TIME SAVING
These warm roof systems when used with AH-25 can make installation more time efficient in two ways. Firstly, AH-25 can be applied directly to the face of the insulation board, with no base layer needed. Secondly, the innovative reinforced self-adhesive jointing tape allows you to achieve the right level of reinforcement detail at board edges more quickly and easily.
THREE SIMPLE STEPS FOR EASY APPLICATION
The only tools you need to work with Hydrostop EU AH-25 are: good sharp scissors, paint rollers and a paint brush. No mixing is required; simply open the drum and get started.
- Remove the release paper from the jointing tape and apply over all insulation board joints
- Apply a base coat of AH-25 liquid directly onto the face of the insulation and jointing tape, before embedding the AH-25 polyester reinforcing fabric into the wet liquid
- Apply the saturation coating of the AH-25 liquid immediately over the top of the reinforcing fabric
So it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!
If any fabric shows through, simply apply a second coat. You can also refurbish any patches of degraded or damaged membrane by simply applying some reinforcing fabric and AH-25 in situ.
WATERPROOFING, WHATEVER THE WEATHER
Hydrostop EU AH-25 can be applied wet-on-wet, which means you don’t have to waste time waiting for layers to dry. It’s usable even at zero degrees, meaning there’s no need to down tools until the weather picks up. Also, as a single component product, AH-25 doesn’t go off, so if you need to take a break, just pop the lid back on and use it again at a later date and there’s no waste.
IDEAL FOR COMPLEX ROOFS AND VIRTUALLY ODOURLESS
Hydrostop EU AH-25 is superb for tricky detailing, with it really coming into its own when you’re working on complex roofs, or if you have lots of roof-mounted plant or balconies to deal with. And, because it’s virtually fume-free and has a very low VOC content, buildings can remain occupied during the roof refurbishment.
A SIMPLE SYSTEM WITH HELP AT HAND
If you’re not sure which warm roof system is best suited to your project, the experts at SIG Design Technology can help you choose the right system for the job.
Your client can also be reassured by knowing their roof is guaranteed by SIG plc, and that Hydrostop EU AH-25 will perform for the lifespan of their building, is BBA Certified, Fire Tested to meet Building Regulations and accepted by NHBC.
It really is a liquid asset.
